Dr. Alena Sergaeva has completed a full specialty program in Pediatric Dentistry and is Board Certified. She has a wide experience working with children in a private office setting, in a hospital-based dental department and teaching pediatric dentistry to residents and dental students. She believes that each child requires an individual approach and is very attentive to every child’s and family’s needs.

She received her dental degree (DDS) from Stony Brook University on Long Island and completed the pediatric dentistry specialty program at the Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn. She gained a tremendous amount of experience working as a pediatric dentist in dental practices in the NYC area. She later became a full time faculty member at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where she continued to practice her skills as well as teach pediatric dentistry to residents by giving lectures and helping them see patients in the clinical settings.

Dr. Sergaeva moved to Massachusetts with her family in 2019, where she worked in a private practice in South Boston and was on the faculty of Boston University Dental School in the department of pediatric dentistry from 2019 to 2020.

She lives in Needham with her husband, son Alexander, and daughter Elizabeth and her current hobby is exploring different playgrounds in the vicinity.
